Raymie Nightingale
by Kate DiCamillo -- I finished this one some time ago, so the
details are a little vague in my mind already. However, what remains is
the sense of a sweet, satisfying read, well-crafted and evocative. Of
all the DiCamillo I've read so far, this one comes closest to achieving
the excellence of Because of Winn Dixie. Highly recommended, and I'm predicting that this one has a good chance at a shiny sticker next January.
